Here is a selection of projects Potius™ Panels have been used in. If you have a project and you are considering using Potius™ Panels then contact us today to talk through your requirements.
The two story classroom block was a collaboration between Sheppard and Rout Architects and Arthouse Architects. This is one of the very few two story full mass timber classroom blocks built in NZ using glulam beams and columns by Techlam, LVL by Nelson Pine and Potius floor and roof cassettes. The building sequesters around 280 tons of carbon over a standard steel and concrete equivalent building. This equates to approximately 110,000 typical school drop offs by car!
The new building is a three storey complex on the existing Kaikoura District Council Library site on West End Esplanade in Kaikoura. This new public facility will co-locate the Town Museum and Kaikoura District Council.
Potius™ Panels have been chosen for all mid-floor structures and also the roof structure.
The Beatrice Tinsley building was recently opened on the University of Canterbury campus. Potius supplied more than 4000m2 of panels into this four storey building.
We have finished building the floor structure for an additional story to be added to the Monro Building (next to the Nelson courthouse).
Potius™ Panels were chosen in this case for the speed of installation and their light weight. In this instance the panels are also fire-lined with gib to give them a fire-rating of 60 minutes.
An example of one of the many houses Potius™ Panels have been used in. Executive styled contemporary home constructed in Atawhai, Nelson. The entire floor system was installed in just on 5 hours
and features some very inventive panels to accommodate an irregular floor area.
